Your scale has been properly calibrated before leaving the factory. It is not necessary to calibrate the scale when you receive it; just allow it to warm up to room temperature before using it.

However, there is always the possibility that calibration could be affected by severe jarring in shipping or other reasons. If you suspect that the scale is indeed out of calibration because of this, please refer to the owner's manual of the model scale you have.
